What is the Global Institute of Social Work?
Introducing the vision and mission of the Global Institute of Social Work
The GISW is a simple concept, that is, to capture the best training in social work and share this freely with those who need professional training and development, anywhere in the world. The GISW is essentially a virtual training platform that has potential, in time to come, to develop global hubs for the delivery of social work training as a means of enhancing social work competencies and effectiveness worldwide. The International Advisory Board for GISW, consisting of prominent global social workers and social work educators, has been formed.
We invite you to support the GISW and share your expertise with the social workers in the rest of the world.
