Lynne M. Healy, MSW, Ph.D. is Board of Trustees Distinguished Professor Emerita from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work (West Hartford, CT, USA), where she taught non-profit management, international issues, human rights, and social policy. She has consulted in a number of countries, including Jamaica, Barbados, the UAE, Mauritius, and Denmark. Dr. Healy is currently the Main Representative of the International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW) at UN Headquarters and serves on the NGO Committee on Social Development. She is a past Vice President and Secretary of the IASSW. Among her many publications are books on international social work and on human rights. In 2014 Dr. Healy received the Katherine A. Kendall Award for outstanding contributions to international social work education from the IASSW.
