Global social work education, presented by Prof Anna Maria Capallini, President of IASSW emphasizes the social worker’s contribution to social cohesion and social inclusion. The need also for the protection of the environment, the use of systemic approach in understanding the complex interaction of local problems and application of values of social justice and principles for ethical practice within different cultural contexts is highlighted.
